Hawaiian Heat is an American drama television series that premiered on ABC on September 14, 1984.  It starred Robert Ginty and Jeff McCracken as two Chicago cops who quit their jobs in the Windy City to become detectives in Hawaii.  Their boss at the Honolulu Police Department was played by veteran actor Mako.  Many of the episodes were directed by Ivan Dixon.  The series was shot in Hawaii.   Only eleven episodes aired on ABC, including the pilot movie.  Here are the pilot movie and the...

This was my band Foreplay, playing live at the Grayville, Illinois American Legion on March 4th, 1990.  Our regular bass guitar player didn't show up until the 4th set, so we had our old bass guitar player fill in.  I recorded various songs from the different sets to fill up a 90 minute cassette.  That would have been about half the length of time we actually played. Band Members: Danny Downs - Drums Joey Downs - Rhythm Guitar Kenny Harrelson - Lead Guitar and Lead Vocals Billy Terrel - Bass...

There are three 1-hour long cassettes, each with a different video game recorded on them.  These tapes were recorded in 1983 and feature the following video games I played at arcades:  Donkey Kong, Ms. Pacman and Centipede.  Also included are scans of the cassettes tapes they were recorded on.  Artifacts of a bygone era.

I'm Kenneth Dwain Harrelson and through the years, I've been in a lot of bands and have gotten to play a lot of great tunes.  In fact, I started my first band when I was 16.  We called ourselves "The DAs" after the haircut from the 1950s and played rock and roll oldies.  Since then, I've been fortunate to jam with a lot of good musicians and this collection of songs are just some that I thought was cool to have gotten to play.  I enjoyed them all and I hope you do as well. ...

The band Hot Ice went through some member changes in 1991 and this is an eight-day period that shows these changes.  This includes three live performances and one practice session.  The members were Kenny Harrelson, Danny Downs, Joey Downs and Will Anderson.  By the eighth day, they had added Eric Dismuke on vocals. Hot Ice recorded live at the Eldorado V.F.W. on March 30th, 1991.  An interesting fact about this venue is that in 1963, while visiting his sister who lived in Benton, Illinois,...

On January 2nd, 1992, Eric Dismuke and Kenneth Dwain Harrelson, who had a two-man rock and roll band named Terror In Tucson , started recording their first album.  On this first day of sessions for the resulting album entitled Northern Song , nothing they recorded ended up being chosen for inclusion on the album.  As these recordings will show, they had lots of fun working together in the studio.  Part of this session was filmed and one brief video will be included here.  Also included are...

Back in 1998 and 1999, my wife and I and my three step-daughters recorded a couple Christmas albums to give out to family and friends.  To pad out each album, we put on some instrumental tracks that derived from midi files.  These are some of those instrumental tracks we used. Our first album, minus the instrumental tracks, can be found here: https://archive.org/details/AFC-1998

This was a Christmas album me and my wife at the time and my three young step-daughters - Tanya, Kelsey and Savannah - recorded back in 1998.  We gave it out as a present to our family and friends.  We used midi files as our backing tracks, but in some cases there are real instruments such as guitars or sleigh bells.  Included is a copy of our album cover.  There is also a humorous "blooper" reel of flubs and outtakes that happened while we were recording it. Recorded and...
